Because every fire pit is handmade, lead time depends on the design and materials. Delivery is usually between 7 days and 4 weeks. We will confirm the expected timescale when you order.
Your fire pit will be sent by courier and will need to be signed for. It is secured to a reused wooden pallet with biodegradable rope to reduce plastic packaging. Fire pits are heavy, so you may need help moving yours into position. For deliveries within Sussex, we may be able to deliver and help site it.
Our fire pits are made from steel at least 5mm thick, so they are substantial and heavy. Two people may be needed to move one safely. Contact us if you need the approximate weight of a particular model.
Returns cover damaged or defective products. If a fire pit arrives damaged or defective, we can repair and resend it at our expense where appropriate. Please read our returns policy for the full terms.
Many mass-produced fire pits use thin steel that can rust through quickly. We use steel at least 5mm thick, including for structural components such as the legs, and source it through UK stockholders. Every Magma fire pit is individually handmade.
Yes. Magma fire pits are designed and handmade in England using steel sourced through UK stockholders.
Most Magma fire pits arrive fully assembled because they are designed to be solid and robust. The Tecton folding fire pit is the exception and is designed to be assembled and packed away.
The steel will naturally weather and develop a rust-coloured patina. Clean out the ashes after each use so they do not retain moisture against the steel. Allow the fire pit to cool fully before cleaning or moving it.
Our heavy-gauge steel fire pits are built to last and include an eight-year warranty. Corten weathering steel develops a protective patina, while stainless steel provides even greater resistance to corrosion.
